What happens when a Large Language Model like ChatGPT generates fictional content?
Right when viral AI generated pictures around the Internet provide us with some fun “hahas” and “lolz”, we are reminded how convincingly artificial creations mimic reality, posing significant implications for fields such as journalism, academia, and law.

Delta Flight 237 narrates the legal case of Mr. John Martinez, who, as the plaintiff, recounts an incident when a poorly secured beverage cart struck him mid-flight, resulting in multiple injuries. The theatre performance involved a ChatGPT generated court transcript, sound and AI visual forensics presented through the lens of a 1989 slide projector.

Mouthfeel

Imagine a dining experience where taste takes a backseat, and sensation steals the spotlight. A speculative set of glass cutlery, not designed for eating, but for tasting and playing. These aren’t your typical utensils; they’re crafted for exploration and interaction. Spoon-like artifacts with sleek, smooth glass handles glide effortlessly against your lips, inviting intimate engagement. The transparency of the glass plays with light and temperature—cool to the touch, yet capable of holding warmth as it lingers between utensil and mouth.

Each piece is a tool for sensory discovery, playful engagement rather than consumption. As you manipulate the utensils, the focus shifts from what you taste to how you feel.

Weapons of Mass Seduction

Many people do not play video games just to kill some time but have a fully rounded passion.

Imagine you are about to hit third base with your date. They walk you through the corridor of
their shared apartment and...surprise! An epic prop wall with carefully refined video game
weapons hanging on it stands in front of your eyes. Are you cringed or are you amazed? Do you
leave or do you stay?

Weapon props have a cringe yet exciting cool factor. What’s creepier than the fetishization of
devices that have one purpose: murder?

The multimedia installation made in collaboration with Orestis Telemachou was exhibited
during Dutch Design Week 2023 as part of the group exhibition ‘Cringe or Cool?’ curated by
Studio Dogtooth and featured in KUBAPARIS.

The luscious, the slimy, the hard-boiled, the creamy – all consumed by a feeling
of unspoken guilt. Jellies, eggs, sex toys, donuts, might elicit uncanny feelings when considered in the context of taste and pleasure.

#Girldinner unfolds in the sacred, hyper-curated staged intimacy of a girl’s bedroom—a pastel set for consumption. The installation blurs theatre, performance, and dining into a hyperfeminine ritual of indulgence and unease. Is she eating, or
is she being devoured by self-surveillance gaze of the camera? by self-surveillance gaze of the camera?
